25 years of Country Cousins lives on...
From 1980 Country Cousins Department Store on Main Street was at the heart of Kirkby Lonsdale.
Alison & Richard Day provided a stylish mix of contemporary homewares, gifts, furniture & fashion for local residents, tourists and visitors to Kendal, Lancaster and the Lake District. My Mum and Dad took retirement in 2015 and I opened my new independent shop called "Boo and Belle".
Over the last 5 years I have hand picked old favourites and fabulous new ranges that ensure a fantastic shopping experience that is unique to Boo & Belle of Kirkby Lonsdale. Our amazing brands include East of India, Parlane, One Hundred Stars, Part Two, Chalk, Saccoo, Maileg and Powell Craft kids.

Boo & Belle is located less than 30 seconds from the Kirkby Lonsdale Post Office on New Road. And for those who like to take their time to browse, the shop is also conveniently located opposite the Kirkby Lonsdale Brewery "Royal Barn" where your 'significant other' could take time to sample their 12 hand pulls and 8 keg taps along with a collection of over 60 different craft beers from around the world (they also do cakes and roast their own Kircabi coffee).
Unfortunately, like most local shops we do not have off street car parking. Ample free on-street car parking is normally available outside Boo & Belle for up to 1 hour. South Lakeland District Council offers 4 hours 'pay and display' facilities opposite the Shop in the "New Road 1 & 2" car parks. Booths Supermarket is 2 minutes walk away with long term parking, including electric car charging bays. All locations include facilities for Disabled Blue Badge holders. Hope that helps.
